ROBOMASTERS
Advanced Robotics – mBot2 + AI (Ages 13-18)
Workshop Description
RoboMasters is an advanced robotics workshop where students program intelligent robots using sensors, AI tools, and Python-enhanced logic. Learners tackle complex challenges—including autonomous navigation and delivery tasks—using real engineering principles.
Objectives
Deepen robotics skills using advanced sensors and control systems
Introduce AI concepts such as speech, vision, and recognition
Strengthen computational thinking, independence, and innovation
Topics Covered
mBot2 assembly, CyberPi, encoders, and sensor integration
Logic structures: loops, conditions, decision trees
AI tools: voice commands, face/object detection
Blocks-to-Python transition and hybrid programming
Advanced challenges: maze solving, autonomous delivery bots
Course Objectives
By the end of the program, students will:
Master precision movement and sensor-based decision-making
Use AI features to create reactive, intelligent robot behaviors
Write and adjust programs in both block and Python modes
Design and complete a multi-step autonomous robotics challenge
Communicate their design choices during a final showcase
